About the Project
After two years of living in the beautiful North West in the US, I have become interested in exploring further the Olympic Peninsula and experiment land scape, astrophotography and star photography. I chose the Olympic Peninsula because it has the potential to offer very rich and diverse scenic views and diversity in terrain and weather.
The Olympic Peninsula is located in the northwest corner of Washington state, west of Seattle, across the bays and lakes of Puget Sound. The peninsula is bounded on the west by the Pacific Ocean, then north by the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the east by Hood Canal.
Potential locations include:
- Lake Crescent - Sunset over Aurora Ridge
- Ruby Beach - Driftwood and Sea Stacks at Sunset, and Milky Way
- Salt Creel Island
- Second Beach - Sun set and Milky Way
- Rialto Beach
