About the Project

Virtual reality (VR) has been emerging as mobile computing gets faster and the Internet offers better quality of service and more bandwidth for the exchange of messaging and media content. While the biggest market to date for virtual reality has been in the gaming industry, there are emerging opportunities in other markets that can benefit from the use of 360 degrees VR content.

In this project, I am architecting and developing a virtual reality mobile application that aims to enable people to share experiences in a vivid and realistic way employing rich media content and social network messaging communication tools.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT VR

Virtual reality takes an interactive, immersive sensory experience to a new level with a different level of viewing. I think of virtual reality to embrace digital content delivery as a new form of communication with its own language, user interfaces, and technical requirements. In terms of content delivery, it is a new story telling and experimental paradigm that can virtually bring people into live events and locations so they can view the events with a more vivid sensation without replacing unite experience of experiencing event in life being physically present.

The technical challenge of this project is to construct interactive experiences employing different forms of digital communication such as images, audio, video,  messaging technologies and social networks.

Mobile App Prototypes

While I am not actively developing the app, I have spent time visualizing UI components and building prototypes in balsamic and Fluid UI.
